Application technology:1. Before using cold plastic (CP), mix thoroughly in a mechanized manner (with an electric drill with a special nozzle in explosion/fire–proof design) in a packaging container for 2-3 minutes until the original uniformity is restored.
2. In cases of storage of CP in unheated rooms at subzero temperatures, before applying, in addition to uniformity, it is necessary to make sure that the temperature of the material is at least +5 ° C.
3. In cases where a liquid hardener is used, it should be mixed until smooth in the cans before adding it to the CP.
4. In case of manual application, the hardener is injected into a bucket with CP immediately before application, stirring mechanically or manually. After adding the CP hardener, it is necessary to continue mixing for 1 min.
5. The amount of hardener added to the CP depends on the ambient temperature:
- from 5°C to 15°             2.0 – 2.5% of the hardener should be used;
 - from 15 °C to 25 °C       1.0 – 2.0% of the hardener should be used;
 - from 25 °C to 30 ° C   0.5 – 1.0% of the hardener should be used.

6. When using a hardener above the recommended values (more than 2.5%), the manufacturer does not guarantee that the marking made by CP will comply with the requirements of regulatory legal acts for its service life. Excessive increase in the amount of hardener makes the marking less durable, the material turns yellow and becomes "rubbery".
7. Retroreflective glass beads are applied on top of the freshly applied CP layer no later than 5-7 minutes after the introduction of the hardener (during the "lifetime" of the CP). Uniform distribution of glass beads is achieved by spraying under pressure using special equipment, or, in the case of applying CP manually according to a template, it is allowed to use devices for uniform distribution of glass beads by gravity (sprinkling boxes, watering cans, etc.).
8. It is forbidden to mix different brands of CP together, add glass beads, granite chips and other fillers to a bucket of plastic.
9. CP markings should be applied in dry weather on a dry, dirt-free, dust-free, sand-free, and oil-free road surface at a steady air temperature of at least +5°C.C and not higher than +30 ° C and relative humidity not more than 85%. The recommended application temperature is (20±5)°C. It is not allowed to apply plastic on an unprepared and/or wet surface, in case of rain, fog or dew, as the curing time increases to two hours and adhesion to the road surface significantly deteriorates.
10. To apply CP, the road surface temperature must be at least 4 °C above the dew point! The dew point is the temperature of the air at which the steam contained in it reaches saturation and begins to condense into dew. The humidity of the roadway greatly reduces the functional durability of the CP marking, in addition, it leads to the appearance of uneven coating thickness (streaks), bubbles and craters on the surface.
